Our Mission Statement:
Under the special patronage of Mary, the “Mother of Sorrows”, Christian Mothers are encouraged joyously to undertake the important task of training and sanctifying the young souls entrusted in their care. They are instructed with ways to edify one another by word and deed, to support one another by fervent prayer and in this way become the mainstay of the spiritual life within their own family, and a fruitful source of blessing to the community in which they live.
Sacred Heart Christian Mothers:
Sacred Heart’s “Confraternity of Christian Mothers” was organized in 1999. Currently there are approximately 70 paid members. The Christian Mothers of Sacred Heart, Glenwood, meet once a month to say the Rosary and have Benediction, followed with a short meeting.

St. Bartholomew Christian Mothers:
The St. Bartholomew Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers was organized in 1953. Bishop Bartholome granted permission and the charter was issued by Father Bertin Roll to Father Harold Dimmerling and his successors on March 21, 1953. The Christian Mothers group supports parishioners in prayer. Our prayers include church, family, and community. We meet in the spring and fall, or as needed. We pray the Rosary at any wakes or funerals at the family’s request.
